And then, the Python Test will be postponed to the Wednesday (Oct/07) on the 4th week,
i.e., the last class day of Teacher Lyu's part in this semester.

On that day, the Python test and the Probability Theory test will be held together.

See you in the Wednesday afternoon.

Why everyone should learn computer programming?

  • Computers are ubiquitous. Programming is a basic skill like reading, writing, and arithmetic.
  • Programming is a discipline that teaches the science and art of solving problems.
  • Programming is different from using an application package like Microsoft Word or Excel. It allows you to tap the power of the computer for your own use.
An interesting concept to follow up:

    ----
Probability & Statistics using the Python Language

In this month, we will review the fundamental concepts in  Probability & Statistics (P&S).
Besides, we will also introduce/review some fundamental skills in the Python Language, such that you can use this language to help you learn P&S and the other mathematically intensive courses.

      1. The test (prob + python) will be 100% of the score in my part (i.e. 25% in the SPA course).

The project is optional for adding score
(the upper limit is to the full points of my part).
